About this project

Currently tracking Alcozon, Goodwill, Mixxon, Alcorium, GD Alco, Luxor Alco, Europroduct, Spar, Whisky House, Alco Hall, Carrefour, Gastronome, and Whisky & More (all via Wolt except Alcozon). Some stores (Mixxon, Europroduct, Whisky & More) are boutique outlets with a narrower whisky range, so most of their bottles won't overlap with the mainstream brands elsewhere — that's normal, not a data gap.

This is an independent, non-commercial project comparing whisky prices across 13 Tbilisi retailers. It is not affiliated with, and does not receive payment from, any store or brand.

Data is collected from publicly available retailer listings (mostly via the Wolt delivery app, plus Alcozon's own site) and refreshed automatically once a week.

Bottle matching across stores is conservative: listings are merged only when there is reliable evidence (shared store URLs or an unambiguous name + volume match). Uncertain matches are kept separate. Mistakes can still happen — always verify the price and edition on the retailer's page before buying.

The site is available in Georgian, English, and Russian. There is currently no dedicated contact channel — this is a small independent project.

It depends on the specific bottle — different stores have the best price on different brands. The list below shows the cheapest store for each bottle individually, so search for your bottle and check which store has the lowest price for that exact one.

What does it mean when a bottle appears at only one store?

It is an available listing, not a direct market price comparison. Use “Compare 2+ stores” to see bottles with comparable offers; for a one-store bottle, still confirm the price on that retailer's page.

What's the difference between “got cheaper this week” and a retailer discount?

“Got cheaper this week” means the bottle's current lowest price fell versus the previous complete check of all 13 stores. A “discount” appears only when the retailer itself shows a higher crossed-out old price beside the current price. A recorded historical drop is not automatically a retailer promotion.

Do the listed prices include delivery and service fees?

No. The catalog shows the bottle price published on the retailer page; delivery, service, minimum-order, or other fees may be added separately. Always confirm the final total on the retailer or Wolt checkout page.

How often are prices updated?

Prices are re-collected from all 13 stores once a week. The exact date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.

Which stores are compared?

Alcozon, Goodwill, Mixxon, Alcorium, GD Alco, Luxor Alco, Europroduct, Spar, Whisky House, Alco Hall, Carrefour, Gastronome, and Whisky & More — 13 Tbilisi retailers, mostly ordered via the Wolt app.

How accurate is the bottle matching across stores?

Matching is deliberately conservative (never-guess). Listings from different stores are merged into one bottle only when there is reliable evidence — identical or overlapping product URLs, or an unambiguous name + volume match. Uncertain cases stay separate. Always double-check the price and edition details on the retailer's page before buying.

What does the "🇩🇪 Germany benchmark (whisky.de)" mean?

It's a reference price from the German retailer whisky.de, which does not ship to Georgia. It's shown only for international price context, not as a place to actually buy.

How is the market snapshot calculated?

The cheapest and most expensive positions include only 700 ml (0.7 L) bottles. Closeness to whisky.de is ranked by the percentage gap between the lowest Tbilisi price and the whisky.de price converted to GEL. The most expensive-vs-whisky.de list ranks the same gap by the largest positive percentage markup. A discount appears only when the retailer explicitly shows a crossed-out old price.
